Front Beach Cottages

The guest rooms at Front Beach Cottages each have their own unique feel, personality, and design.

Cathy Beeding bought the property in 2009, and was deeply inspired by the beauty and convenience of the downtown location. Later, in 2011, she decided to turn it into a coastal inn for visitors to Ocean Springs. Recently, Mark Aultman and Bridgette Varone have assumed management and are committed to seeing that guests enjoy their getaway at Front Beach Cottages.

Originally constructed in the 1940s and 50s as fishing shacks for locals, all of the cottages have been completed renovated and updated, while maintaining the original charm of the era in which they were built.

Front Beach Cottages is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, with our Key West Cabana and Lagniappe Cottage, or our NOLA Cottage which can sleep two. We have a continental style “Breakfast in Bed’ available as a pre-ordered amenity for guests who want to start the day with some local favorites from eateries such as Tatonut Donuts or French Kiss Bakery, as well as refreshing mimosas.

For our guests with more folks in their party, the Bellande Cottage is perfect to bring the family with and can sleep up to 6 (although there is only 1 bathroom!), or the NOLA & Lagniappe Cottages can be rented together with access between the two via locking adjoining interior doors.

The cottages were designed with your comfort in mind, with amenities such as flat-screen TVs, Keurig coffee makers, refrigerators, microwaves, blue-tooth speakers, irons & ironing boards, exclusive Front Beach Cottages eco-robes, signature bath products, and Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Each cottage has a private patio, deck, or screened-in porch for relaxing and enjoying the Gulf Coast atmosphere. Also – after a day at the beach, you can shower in your own enclosed outdoor shower! YOLO bicycles and kayaks are also provided for those that want to explore the area by land or by sea.

For those who don’t want to leave their well-behaved dogs at home, the Bellande Cottage and the Key West Cabana both allow dogs who don’t bark all the time and are sweet to their neighbors. We ask that all of our canine guests have their owners put leashes on them when out and about and clean-up after them so we can keep our grounds and landscaping healthy! We even include a signature Front Beach Cottage dog bowl & treats for our furry friends.
